Renovating the Community Gym Entrance and First Floor of the High School

Chairs, Jeff & Amanda Foell, and co-chairs, Adam & Kate Friedrichsen, are excited to announce the highly anticipated 2026 St. Mary's Ball and Charity Auction Fund-A-Cause, which is raising funds to modernize the community gym entrance and first floor of the high school. Our big and bold goal is to raise $1.5 million.

We will relocate the coach’s office, concession stand, and men’s and women’s restrooms. Additionally, we will update paint, lockers, doors, flooring, ceiling, trophy cases, and reconfigure the west staircase, all while showcasing our catholic identity. The original high school addition was built in 1964 with very few updates being made since. 

“We believe renovating the community gym  entrance will boost enrollment by showing our community and guests we are committed to modernized spaces and learning. Additionally, the renovation will increase school pride and loyalty,” states chair, Amanda Foell. “The renovation also addresses safety concerns in the current lobby and will be a key component to future physical growth of our campus," adds co-chair and K-5 St. Mary’s Counselor, Kate Friedrichsen.

“We recognize this is a larger goal for our fund-a-cause than we’ve had in the past, but we have faith we can get this project started this summer. We are asking our community to pledge large gifts by March 1st,” states St. Mary’s Priest, Father Lingle. 

As parents and parishioners, we are not just families enrolled and supporting our school. We are stewards of a mission. 

We invite you to prayerfully consider making a BIG & BOLD gift, one that is meaningful for your family, our school, and church to help us reach this goal. Our goal is to have major gifts pledged by March 1st.
